September 2016 Editorial: Eurailtest News
For most of us, September means the end of the holidays, time to return to work with a vengeance. Throughout the summer Eurailtest’s teams and laboratories have been taking it in turns to hold the fort and keep your test schedules on track, in particular the start of speed ramp-up tests on the South European Atlantic high-speed line (SEA, Tours-Bordeaux) and acceptance runs with Regio2N and NAT trains.
Another highlight of the summer came in July with the signature of a first contract with the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) after several months of discussions, the contract heralding the prospect of more cooperation to come.
The teams have also been busy completing preparations for InnoTrans, the rail sector’s flagship trade fair. We hope to see as many of you there as possible to discuss your plans and tell you all about the exciting new digital calculation and simulation services we are now adding our product range.
I hope you all had a great summer and look forward to seeing you in Berlin.
